ABOUT OUR CLUB |
Founded
in October of 1996 and incorporated in 1998, The
Northeastern New York Golden Retriever Club, Inc., a not-for-profit
organization, is sanctioned by the American Kennel Club and is soon to be
a member club of the Golden Retriever Club of America. We welcome ANYONE
with an interest in Golden Retrievers.
Our meetings are held once per month on the second
Tuesday of each month.
Anyone is welcome to join us that would enjoy
discussing golden retrievers. We have educational guest speakers at most meetings.
We hold at least one AKC-Sanctioned Golden Retriever
Specialty and All-Breed Obedience Match per year (usually in the month of June)
with eye, heart and microchip clinics. We are currently involved in
supported entry shows and will be seeking to have our own specialty shows in the future.
Periodically, we host educational seminars, conducted by
experts in a particular
specialty and hold "golden fun day" events
throughout the year.

is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax
